Mitch's passion for dog training began in his childhood, inspired by the amazing duck dogs owned by his grandpa and uncle. Throughout his youth, he trained every family dog, honing his skills and deepening his love for the craft. As a Marine Corps veteran, Mitch's interest in dog training was further ignited by two of his best friends, who were handlers. Though he never had the opportunity to handle a dog in the field, his fascination with training working dogs grew.

After his active duty service, Mitch worked as an engineering technician for Honda and Battelle before attending THE Ohio State University. Eventually, he left the engineering industry to pursue his true passion, founding the highly successful Christian K9 Academy. He traveled extensively, learning from some of the most renowned names in the industry.

Mitch graduated at the top of his class from Highland K9 International School for Dog Trainers, one of the world's best dog training schools, earning certification as a police and military K9 instructor. In addition to training pet dogs, Mitch has extensive experience training police dogs, hunting dogs, detection dogs, tracking dogs, and dogs for directionals and search and rescue.

Just west of the vibrant city of Columbus lies our expansive 20-acre facility, a perfect blend of natural beauty and state-of-the-art training methodologies. More than just a training ground, our location provides an ideal environment where both canines and handlers can thrive.

The vastness of our property ensures that all training exercises are conducted in a secure, serene setting, far removed from the city's hustle and bustle.
